We are looking for technically savvy developers with expertise and passion for solving difficult problems. Responsibilities

The DocEng organization designs, creates, implements and maintains Publishing Tools used for the creation, publishing, and delivery to the Oracle Help Center ( http://docs.oracle.com ).

Our tools are used by internal teams such as User Assistance (UA) and Information Developers (technical writers).

As a Software Developer in DocEng, you will take an active role in the design and implementation of new features and enhancements with top of the arts technologies, high quality standards and code best practices

As a Software Developer in DocEng your responsibilities will include:

​​​​​​​Design and Develop features and enhancements to applications.
Interacting and working with other development teams
Support and Quality Assurance teams and Information Architects.

Job Requirements

  At least 5+ year of experience in:

     Typescript and Javascript frameworks
    HTML, XHTML and CSS

Additional:

    Knowledge of Web Services and Rest Services
    Knowledge of Maven or Gradle is a plus
    Experience with Git
    Experience working with Cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes and Docker is a plus.

 

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
