Brief Description

Work with Oracle’s world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle’s global cloud infrastructure.

 

Detailed Description:

• As a member of the OAL organization, assist with the analysis of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems.
• Prepare design, perform coding, and test/debug programs.
• Develop system implementation plans.
• Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

 

You will be part of CRM team of OAL. The team is working on applications which support marketing and sales. We are expanding because the team will need to implement a new initiative.

Preferred Skills:

• Experienced with Java and Spring framework
• At least some familiarity with Oracle SQL is preferred
• Docker and Kubernetes knowledge are also valuable (but not  required) for this position
• Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to present ideas in business & user friendly language
• Ability to deliver effectively in a team setting as well as independently
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment that demands co-ordination across time-zones.

 

Amount of Travel: Minimal Travel

Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
