Senior Manager, EMEA Programmatic

 

Preferred locations include the London, Reading, Dublin. Remote working is possible.

About the Role

 

As the Senior Manager of Programmatic Advertising in EMEA you will be the lead for programmatic media activation across all channels (including, but not limited to) display, mobile, video, native, CTV, etc.  You will create the vision, outline the steps, activate, and share successes with the strategy and marketing teams across the organization.

 

Responsibilities

  • Creating a Solid Foundations for Programmatic Best Practices\:  This is a growing team and outlining select systems, tactics, and processes will be key to expanding the groups capabilities.  We’re ultimately building a successful programmatic operation from the ground up.
  • Execution of Programmatic in EMEA\:  Delivering against KPIs at each stage of the buying cycle – awareness, consideration, purchase, loyalty across multiple platforms.
  • Campaign Planning\: You’ll be responsible for leading the planning and managing of Oracles programmatic campaigns across multiple pillars. 
  • Campaign Setup and QA\: The team will be responsible for the creation of campaigns in the platforms as well as performing all necessary checks before campaigns activation.  This includes all tracking tags are in place and audiences are pushed through correctly from the DMP before launch.
  • Analytics and Reporting\: You will manage a tracker to monitor campaign performance and optimizations. You will create bi-weekly and post campaign performance reports for each campaign which provides analysis and insights that adds value to the team.
  • Managing a Team of Programmatic Specialists\: Actively mentor, provide guidance, QA, support, establish trust, encourage growth and motivate your team through the day to day responsibilities of programmatic campaign activation.

 

Requirements\:

  • 4 Years of Programmatic expertise both managing and activating\: You have experience in media planning and/or media activation, with hands-on executional experience with planning and managing large-scale programmatic activity in various platforms (DV360, TTD, etc)
  • 2-4 Years of Management Experience\:  You should already know how to hire, create solid working relationships with, and leading a small team of smart people.
  • Excellent Communication Skills\:  Whether verbal, written or PowerPoint, you’ll need to be able to communicate clearly and answer programmatic questions coming from all levels of understanding.  
  • Programmatic Knowledge\: You have a solid understanding of the programmatic landscape, best practices, and platforms to successfully manage campaigns.  
  • Experience in Complex B2B Marketing\:  Our customers engage with various marketing touchpoints dozens of times before coming to a buying decision. Far different from transactional / consumer sales.
  • Strategic and creative thinking – always focusing on innovative, but measurable solutions
  • Understanding of most recent global privacy legislation, such as\: GDPR, CCPA, COPPA, etc
  • Experience working with financial data and budgets
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and to develop relevant and realistic plans, programs and recommendations to solve business challenges
  • Knowledge of 3rd party bidding tools, DSPs, SSPs, RTB, Ad Verification, Ad Servers, etc.
  • Extensive knowledge in DSP/Technology platforms such as DV360, TTD, etc.
  • Hands-on campaign manage experience, especially in multi-country set up with multi-language creative
  • In-depth knowledge of media planning fundamentals
  • Proven track record managing high campaign volume, large budgets, complex strategies across multiple channels and driving quantifiable result
  • Experience with DoubleClick Campaign Manager / floodlight tags / vendor pixels
  • Advanced experience in working with Excel (e.g. PivotTables, Pivot Graph, Vlookups, Large Data Set, etc.)
  • Agency and/or multi-channel background a plus
!|!Responsible for digital marketing of products or services in support of Oracle's demand generation strategy using tools to optimize marketing strategies and enhance the customer experience with new technology platforms and innovations.

Management of digital marketing specialists to collaborate with line of business/region in designing new data-driven models and campaign optimization techniques to create customer awareness, engagement and predictive purchase intent. Responsible for driving Inbound Marketing activities delivering results to sales pipeline and revenue generation. Manages the team to ensure regional inbound demand generation business plan, goals and strategies are achieved. Collaborate closely with sales, product and field marketing to align resources and budget to vertical/line of business/region growth opportunities, supporting sales growth regionally and globally. Manages relationships with internal partners and external agencies.

Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate specifications. Practical internet knowledge. Software business management experience. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Successful track record in management.
