Program Description
The NetSuite Business Development Representative (BDR) Program is a university recruitment program designed to prepare recent graduates for an exciting and rewarding sales career at Oracle within the NetSuite business unit. The 12-18 month program gives BDRs hands-on experience sourcing and qualifying leads while building product knowledge and sales skills. Participants will be tasked with challenging assignments where they will acquire product and industry knowledge, develop sales and presentation skills, and gain technical and project management experience. BDRs work closely with their team, program manager and sales leadership to learn the business strategy of a world-class software organisation with the ultimate goal of placement into a sales position with NetSuite.
Job Description
NetSuite is looking for a Senior Manager to run our EMEA Business Development teams for Mainland Europe, based in Malaga. This individual will support the rapid expansion of the EMEA group, currently of 86 BDRs and 10 Managers, and will focus on scaling our organization in Malaga where we will have 54 BDRs and 6 Managers located. This Senior Manager will coach and develop their management staff, collaborate with marketing to increase sales qualified leads, work with sales ops to operationalise sales processes, support the sales leadership in the region to meet targets, and work with recruiting to hit annual hiring goals.

This individual will support the rapid expansion of the group, currently of 86 BDRs and 10 Managers, and will focus on scaling our organisation. This Senior Manager will coach and develop their management staff, collaborate with marketing to increase sales qualified leads, work with sales ops to operationalise sales processes, support the sales leadership in the region to meet targets, and work with recruiting to hit annual hiring goals.
As such this senior position requires a strong, hands-on leader who has experience in inside sales or BDR programs and strong analytical skills. Significant experience in second-line management is a prerequisite.
They will also have significant experience engaging with sales leaders over their sales execution strategy and how their BDRs can accelerate achievement of this as well as experience having worked with marketing to maximise returns in all areas of their marketing mix.
Your Responsibilities
· Setting expectations with senior sales management through timely and accurate forecasting, pipeline and sales activity/program metrics reporting
· Motivating individuals to succeed through impassioned leadership, coaching, creative sales incentives, and broadcast of results
· Developing incentive plans to foster a competitive and collaborative team environment
· Driving program and participant success; investing in the success of the team and going above and beyond to mentor a team of individuals
· Participating in recruiting process for future BDR classes and management
· Delivering a training program to onboard new inside sales hires
· Refining and critiquing processes and ensuring adherence within the team and with stakeholders
· Create and develop programs and campaigns in conjunction with Marketing and Sales - should be able to execute programs and campaigns with limited guidance.
· Managing day-to-day activities of the team
· Serving as an active coach through feedback sessions
· Preparing BDRs for regular reviews with the NetSuite senior management team
· Acquiring and maintaining a working knowledge of the complete capabilities of NetSuite's service offerings
· Growing the program into new markets throughout EMEA
· Collaborating with peers globally

· Strong background in inside sales and/or sales management required with significant second-line management experience

Experience qualifying prospects and customers; understanding of the sales cycle process. Strong leadership skills. Strong Oracle product knowledge preferred. BA/BS preferred. Experience managing staff. Manage and control activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensure appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet business needs.
