Job Description

Oracle Communications is looking for a high performing sales person to join the ASEAN Network Sales team.  This position is based in Malaysia (alternative location\: Thailand) covering primarily Telco/CSP accounts in Malaysia, and other assigned accounts within the ASEAN region.

 

Preferred candidates will have\:

·    Covered sales to Communications Service Providers for the past 8-10 years with proven sales achievements.

·    Ability to solution-sell new technology products and articulate value proposition to key stakeholders.

·    Experience in selling to mobile and telco operators in Malaysia is a must, and within the ASEAN region is a definite advantage.

·    Familiar with mobile core network, especially in signalling, routing and policy control technology and its competitive landscape, as well as a good knowledge in NFV, 5G, IoT and Cloud technologies.

·    Demonstrate strong relationships with customer decision makers and key management levels.

·    Demonstrate strong sales discipline and quality in sales forecasting accuracy.

·    Aggressive, competitive sales professional with high level of integrity.

 

This position is responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory.

·    Works as part of a highly performant and motivated team to identify, qualify and deliver products/ solutions to telecoms operators. 

·    Responsible for the account plan to drive goal attainment in assigned territory. 

·    Coordinates with the other members of the sales team (employees and partners) to support account sales and business development strategies. 

·    Helps identify and engage the appropriate partner to meet customer specifications. 

·    Becomes trusted advisor to key customer influencers and decision makers. 

·    Drives company's strategy into assigned accounts. 

·    Follows all companies' methodologies and processes related to sales opportunity pursuit. 

·    Ensures that the company's sales programs are known and executed in assigned territory, including personal follow-up and engagement in selected opportunities.

·    Achieves or exceeds the quarterly and annual sales goals.

·    May travel frequently.

 

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8-10 years relevant work experience. BS/BA in Engineering preferred.
