We are the Cloud Operations team responsible for the Bronto Product inside the Netsuite Global Business Unit. We are seeking a Senior Security Engineer to work with the Security Engineering team and will be responsible for securing our systems, infrastructure, services and data. This position will also collaborate with various business units to gather planning requirements and coordinate plans to complete security projects across various resources.
Responsibilities Include
Support, automate and evaluate new security tools and services.
Assist in developing and publishing standard operating procedures, security guidelines and processes in collaboration with other members of the security team and wider Engineering audience.
Support vulnerability management and remediation functions.
Execute on projects that require complex collaboration, detailed planning, and independent judgement.
Collaborate with internal and external teams
Participate in the internal security compliance/audit activities
Transition efforts from reactive to proactive by continually refining business capabilities around security
Recognize and respond to security issues and possible security violations
Possible Team based On-Call rotation (1 week in 2-3 months period)
Required Skills and Experience
Proven technical skills in network and system security, management, monitoring, incident response and vulnerability analysis.
Knowledge of security controls including network security technologies (IDS, IPS, firewall, DLP, NAC, and WAF), OS hardening, SIEM solutions, file integrity monitoring, authentication, DDOS.
Understanding of system and application security threats and vulnerabilities.
Experience in server and network monitoring/management.
Self-motivated and possess solid critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong proficiency with environment specific technologies such as Linux (CentOS/OL/RHEL) and Qualys vulnerability management.
Shell scripting and familiarity with an OO language preferred.
Work experience with a cloud service provider and knowledge of the complexities of securing a cloud environment preferred (Experience with AWS, Azure, or Oracle cloud a major plus).
Recognized industry certification and/or continuing education programs are a major plus including\: CISSP, OSCP, CCSK, CCNE, GSEC, etc.

Responsible for creating and implementing system enhancements that will improve the performance and reliablility of the system. Manage the load configurations of a central data communication processor and make recommendations for purchase or upgrade of data networks. Coordinate terminal orders and cable installation, network system planning, upgrading, monitoring, testing, and servicing. Approves action requests and specifies purchase requisitions. Negotiates and places orders with common carriers. May play a team leader role for developing System Administrators.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Eight years of related experience in a medium to large network distributed and computing environment. BS in Computer Science or related field.
