Responsibilities:
As an Oracle Database Administrator you will be member of Oracle team responsible for day to day maintenance of over 1500 Oracle instances. The duties will consist of, but will not be limited to resolving incidents, performance tuning, performing activities requested by customer, easy one and more complex like database encryption, reclaim space by "move" etc. You will be working with team on ways to reduce number of incidents, applying security and regular fixes and you will be part of oncall duty. You will be also involved in patching, upgrade and migration campaign.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

 

demonstrated English both written and spoken demonstrated knowledge of Linux OS demonstrated knowledge of Oracle database version 11g and 12c demonstrated knowledge of Oracle utilities expdp/impdp, RMAN etc demonstrated knowledge of Oracle ASM and RAC architecture, Data Guard demonstrated knowledge of Oracle CC13 demonstrated knowledge of Oracle features: Advance Security, Partitioning etc. demonstrated experience in Oracle upgrades procedure: Grid infrastructure, RDBMS, JAVA etc. including RAC environment

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

 

E2E experience with supporting environments on corporate level (significant number of servers) scripting experience (any of: bash, ksh, perl, python) ITIL Foundation knowledge ITSM (IT Service Management) tools: Maximo, IPM/Remedy, HPSM, ServiceNow, ...
