Sales Consulting (Pre-Sales): Senior Manager – Prague

We are offering a unique opportunity to lead an innovative, modern Sales Consulting team within Oracle Digital, supporting our growing Database, Middleware and Business Analytics business in one of our most critical markets. This senior role will lead an experienced team of Sales Consulting professionals to drive significant growth in our Technology business, supporting our sales teams in driving sales of our Technology Cloud and On Premise solutions.

Responsibilities:
· Build and lead a highly motivated and high performing team of Sales Consultants focused on the East and Central European markets.
· Lead and inspire the team through your own example to drive outstanding success for our customers, partners – and the sales teams that the Sales Consultants support.
· Provide leadership for the team to ensure that KPI’s are clearly defined and met.
· Manage the correct resourcing of the Inside Sales Consulting Team in collaboration with the Oracle Sales Consulting ‘EcoSystem’.
· Work with the Oracle Recruitment and Sales Academy teams to ensure that the team is fully staffed and trained

Requirements:
 Previous experience in Management is required (5+ years), ideally in a Sales Consulting or Technical Sales environment.
 Strong understanding of the sale and consumption of cloud services, as well as the role of a Sales Consultant in driving customer and sales success.
 A successful track record of managing through managers and leading geographically dispersed teams would be a strong advantage.
 Regular overachievement of goals or targets in previous roles is expected.
 A proven track record in a B2B sales environment.
 A primary degree in a Business or IT related discipline.
 Fluency in English is necessary

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As part of the Oracle sales team you will direct and manage internet pre-sales resources throughout the sales cycle. Provides technical/functional leadership to the sales team in the development and implementation of customer applications and customer products. Participates in account planning and strategy development. May publishes technical information of specific applications and/or technical articles. Works with management to define new products. Serves as the company liaison on specific technical projects with customers.

Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Knowledge of software industry relating to all aspects of ebusiness solutions. Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent.
