HCM Technical Lead
· Designing and recommending project solutions for clients that leverage best practices pre-built into the Oracle HCM
Cloud.
· Working with Solution Architects to build and test Fast Formulas for Core HR, Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, Time
and Labor, Talent Management and Absence Management
· Design and build of HCM and Benefits data extracts
· Lead the conversion effort for all HCM related data
· Lead and build the integrations for HCM touch points utilizing all available integration services
· Providing strong subject matter expertise to identify and translate business and system requirements into design
artifacts and documents
· Collaborating with project and delivery managers to provide estimates, and develop the overall implementation
solution plan for area of expertise, interfacing and coordinating tasks with internal and external resources.
· Leverage Workflow, Collaboration, Personalization, Branding and Social Networking technologies to enhance end
user experience.
· Identifying the most challenging components and greatest risks of a proposed solution, and drawing up appropriate
plans to mitigate or strengthen the viability of an approach
· Providing advice and guidance to clients on implementation strategies
· Develop and maintain a collaborative working relationship with clients
· Serving as a lead in the implementation planning process providing work plans, estimates and scoping for area of
expertise
· Managing assigned scope, client expectations, and client issues for all assignments.
· Providing education and knowledge transfer for clients
· As required, work with business development team to assist with proposals, present solutions, develop statements of
work, and support any other sales activities.
· Serving as a mentor and coach to other project team members looking to gain knowledge and experience in the
Technical Solution Specialist’s subject matter expertise area.

· Proven ability to communicate at all levels of customer organizations, up to and including executives
· Manage all aspects of Oracle Service Requests with Oracle Support.
· Thorough understanding of Project Life Cycle Management
· An ability to lead and deliver success under difficult circumstances
· Proven difference-maker for mission critical initiatives on at least one engagement
· Ability to act as mentor and guru in area of expertise.
· Minimum 10 years Oracle experience in area of expertise
· Minimum of at least 2 full life cycle implementations of Oracle HCM Cloud
· Demonstrated understanding of BI Publisher
· Technical foundation in software development languages and methodologies (e.g. Java, PL/SQL, etc.).
· Software development experience with SQL, PL/SQL and Web Services is desirable.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

utilizing Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Operates independently by applying Oracle
methodology, company procedures, leading practices, and creativity to develop business solutions on moderately
complex customer engagements. Influences customer leadership in acceptance of Oracle solutions and services to
facilitate the closing of consulting deals. Contributes to statements of work, work breakdown structures and/or level of
effort and staff plans. Presents and demonstrates solutions to customers. Builds and maintains a network and up-todate
specific industry or product knowledge. Responsible for transitioning deal knowledge to implementation team. May
lead solution design aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality and integrated business solutions. Demonstrates
expertise in multiple business processes within one product family; or architects and designs technology solutions that
address cross stack issues.
6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate
degree or equivalent experience. Broad product, technology or industry expertise. Ability to craft and articulate strategic
solutions. In-depth knowledge of implementation methodologies and best practices. Knowledge of competitive and partner
products, technology and solutions. Ability to travel as needed.
