Minimum Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in shipping Java / Database / Cloud application
• BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Ability to work in a collaborative, cross functional team environment
• Proficient in Java/Js, Oracle SQL/PLSQL and Cloud based technology
• Experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving performance issues in complex environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep experience with Java and Oracle Database: loading and running applications in the Oracle database
• Deep understanding of Unix-like operating systems:  Docker, K8s, VM’s 
• Deep experience shipping multi platform products - Linux/Mac/Windows
• Experience in creating and using REST endpoints
• Varied experience across many platforms and languages.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud/DBaaS Private (Exadata based Multi-tenant deployments) or Public Cloud (DBCS, ExaCS/ExaCC or Autonomous DB Cloud), Amazon AWS or MS Azure and implementing REST-API Client Orchestrations dealing with Cloud hosted Micro-Services Components is a plus.

 

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
