Oracle is building the next generation cloud, the complete IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS cloud – bringing its
customers and widely used software to the cloud.  If you have worked on cloud scale products and want to be in the center of a large cloud effort, this
could be the job for you. You will work as part of the core compute team for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, own a significant part of
the OCI Compute service P&L. You will own the strategy to ensure success for the OCI Compute business,  including definition and execution for
key capabilities of the OCI Compute business. We are seeking driven, strategic and seasoned Product Managers with cloud experience
and a readiness to expand their impact across a division.

scale in a broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. Our customers run their businesses on our cloud, and our mission is to provide them with best

We’re looking for hands-on product managers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems within the
cloud. If this is you, at Oracle you can be part of designing and building innovative new systems from the ground up. These are exciting times in our space
- we are growing fast, still at an early stage, and working on ambitious new initiatives.  As a product manager within this group you will instantly be
able to have significant technical and business impact.
 
Job Qualifications\:
The ideal candidate will have large-scale cloud experience and has worked with several cloud products and
technologies. They will be hands-on and familiar with design patterns involved in integrated cloud products (from overall UX, API and distributed architecture
design, to common technology areas involved like identity, integration, and management).  The ability to identify the key customer scenarios and
market value that drives key decisions, lead cross-functional teams to an innovative solution is key.  Principal level experience in cloud products
in technical program management/product management for 3-5 years, working with executives, and hands on design and ability to drive specifications/designs as
required, and experience managing PM or Engineering teams is preferred.

1.       Product management experience within an enterprise environment
2.       Deep understanding and experience within distributed systems 
3.       Deep understanding and experience within cloud 

Some travel between US engineering centers may be required.

!|!Work as part of a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will define product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
