The QA Test Engineer will be a member of the My Oracle Support team.  The My Oracle Support application portfolio is used by Oracle Customer Support to manage and resolve all customer initiated service requests for Oracle products.

The candidate needs to understand manual testing methodologies and have the ability to be able to function in a constantly changing environment.  The candidate needs to understand the Agile model that MOS uses, and needs to know how to use JIRA. The candidate will be responsible for developing and updating manual test plans, executing those manual plans, identifying opportunities to automate test plans along with participating in activities that move My Oracle Support to continuous deployment model in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

As member of the My Oracle Support Team, candidate will work closely with developers and will be a participating member of one or more scrum teams.

Duties will include the testing of application code changes, bug fixes, infrastructure patching testing, 3^rd party license upgrade testing, UI testing, integration testing, logging bugs, managing QA backlogs, participating in quarterly production cutovers. Writing automation tests, executing, fixing issues and keeping them up to date.

Below skills are critical for success in this role\:

- BS or MS degree or equivalent experience

- 3-5 years doing structured testing in an Enterprise Application

- OATS (Oracle Automated Testing System), Selenium or other automated test platforms

- Experience using JETUI and RESTAPI

- Experience in Service Oriented Application QA is a plus

- Knowledge of Platform as a Service (PaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud offerings.

- Shell Scripting, working knowledge of Kubernetes a plus

Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
