IAAS Specialist Job
Description\:
Join a high growth area of Oracle business as a Cloud
Solution Engineer. You will work with customers, partners and sales teams on
Oracle Products & Cloud Services to architect highly scalable,
flexible and robust cloud architecture that addresses customer needs.
As a trusted customer adviser you will help customers and
partners understand and appreciate best practices around Oracle cloud based
solutions. Cloud Pre-Sales Consultant will have the opportunity to work with a
wide range of customers and partners to build mind share for use of Oracle
Cloud Infrastructure Services.
You will architect or deploy Cloud / Virtualization
solutions for enterprise customers and interact with CTO / CIO
Basic Qualifications\:
·
5 to 10 years of Experience in architecting infrastructure
solutions using both Linux/Unix and Windows with specific recommendations on
server, load balancing, HA/DR, & storage architectures.
·
Experienced in architecting or deploying
Cloud/Virtualization solutions for enterprise customers with deep hands-on
implementation experience required
·
Strong verbal and written communications skills
are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and
external organizations.

Proficient in a modern programming language such
as Java, Node.JS or Python
Application Development Qualifications\:
Cloud Solution
Architect must have expertise in Application Development, API, Integration
technologies and can design solutions that run on Oracle Cloud. Candidate must
have overall 5 years of experience as Technical Architect in implementation
and sustenance experience in Cloud based solutions. Experience in
building solutions using more than one of these technologies – Java,
Node.JS , API , Containers in the area of OLTP applications, Micro services,
API based integration, Kafka, Spark etc. Working experience in any one Industry
vertical. Ability to deliver presentations, proof of concepts and
demonstrations
Key Responsibilities\:
Understand customer business /
technical & commercials expectations. - Design solution to meet customer's
business & commercial needs - Do customer presentations and whiteboard
session to present solutions to customers. - Evangelize cloud technologies with
customers. - Deep engagement with sales team for winning opportunities. -
Co-ordinate with operations team for delivery of solutions as per proposal.
!|!Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.
As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.
Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills\: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.!|!
