Job Description

Senior Sales Manager (Cloud Applications)

In this role, you will be part of a team to identify, qualify and deliver Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP applications. This position is responsible for strategic account developments and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory.

 

Responsibilities

  • Be a strategic advisor to introduce and promote Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP to the assigned territory
  • Achieve or exceed the quarterly and annual sales goals; drive company's strategy into assigned accounts
  • Manage and develop relationships to elevate Oracle's positioning within the given set of strategic accounts
  • Follow all companies' methodologies and processes related to sales opportunity pursuit
  • Sell and promote the sales of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale
  • Ability to cover and build relationships with CxOs and other relevant influencers or decision makers
  • Develop and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue; generate and achieve monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis
  • Coordinate with the other members of the sales team (employees and partners) to support account sales and business development strategies
  • Ensure the company's sales programs are known and executed in assigned territory, including personal follow-up and engagement in selected opportunities

 

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years' application sales experience within the technology industry; solid track records in selling ERP or other cloud applications will be an advantage
  • Motivated independent individual and is result-oriented
  • Ability to work as a team and drive collaboration across all lines of business within Oracle
  • Solid communication skills, ability to hold dialogues at CxO levels
  • Ability to confidently negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions
  • Strong drive for customer's success, ability to act as a trusted advisor for the customers

 

Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts).

Primary job duty is to sell business applications software/solutions and related services to prospective and existing customers. Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition. Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale. Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience including 7 years of sales experience. Successful sales track record. Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle's competitors. Interaction with C level players. Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills. Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
