Job Requirements
Overall responsibility for sales, third party alliances, and customer satisfaction. Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to specified named accounts (Enterprise accounts) in Malaysia
Have existing relationship with customers/partners in the specified territory assigned in Malaysia
Develops and implements a comprehensive strategy that maximizes Oracle's opportunities across all technology product lines in Malaysia Region
Sells and promotes the sales of Oracle technology products to customers including negotiating price, other concessions and terms and conditions of the sale
Participates in strategic and tactical planning for the division. Builds working relationships with license, consulting and education field managers in the respective territory to develop joint account plans.
Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning.
Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application. Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition.
Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale.
Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers in their region of operations.
Develops and execute a territory plan to maximize revenue. Generates and achieves monthly territory forecasts, and accurately predicts revenue on a monthly basis/ periodicity as required by organisation.
Assists in the development of short, medium, and long term plans to achieve strategic objectives.
Regularly interacts across functional areas with first line manager and management or executives to ensure objectives are met.
Ability to influence thinking or gain acceptance of others in sensitive situations important.
Required Skills and Experience
At least 10 years applicable sales experience in products / services around the specified territory, with past experience in Tier 1 Enterprise Software MNC
Ability to resolve customer satisfaction issues.
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability in Enterprise/Strategic accounts in Malaysia
Effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to present to large and small audiences,in preferred primary language of Bahasa Malaysia (Malaysia national language)
Ability to negotiate price, other concessions and terms and conditions.
Strong quantitative, analytical.
Provides leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology.
Successful sales track record is a must, at least demonstrate 3 years in managing same client relationship
Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts.
Possess knowledge on Oracle offerings in specified segment and/or knowledge of Oracle’s competitors.
Experience interacting with C level players.
Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills.
Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers.
Bachelor degree or equivalent.
Primary job duty is to sell technology software products and related services in a defined territory. Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities. Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support. Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Builds and expands business partner revenue and self sufficiency.
Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience including 7 years of technology sales experience. Ability to forecast, manage sales expenses, and successfully close new Oracle business. Business development, prospecting and presentation skills. Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability. Proven track record of exceeding sales objective and territory/account development. Experience as the focal point for clients for all sales and related issues. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent.
