Senior Security Engineer/Architect
Job Description\:

We are seeking a highly talented and motivated hands-on Security Engineer/Architect with passion to solve difficult security problems and drive compliance measures. You will be working with top-notch talent and the opportunities to make an impact are exciting and huge.
Qualifications\:
- BS or MS degree; 8 years of experience with at least 4 years of handson software development
- Curiosity, love for security, sense of humor and emotional intelligence to work across teams
- Experience in web application development and CI/CD pipelines.
- Good knowledge of server and network infrastructure.
- Experience with security reviews of code and configuration, and a history of discovering vulnerabilities
- Good knowledge of security related to network, identity, access, and web application stacks.
- Ability to code and work with modern languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK, CIS, NIST 800. Bonus\: certifications such as CISSP.
- Good communication and presentation skills, selfmotivation, and strong work ethics
Responsibilities\:
Work with various teams including development, operations, corporate security, and legal, on the following representative projects\:
- Define and manage security best practices and standardize security solutions across products.
- Drive security innovation with research, new tools and techniques, and CI/CD enhancements.
- Research and demonstrate security vulnerabilities with prototype solutions.
- Define and manage threat monitoring using SIEM and MLbased techniques.
- Develop and maintain security scorecards, dashboards, and reports.
- Drive and/or review security assurance and compliance deliverables, including checklists, test results, risk analysis, security guides, etc.
- Secondlevel spot reviews of operational security including inventories, patch levels, and scans.
- Drive incident response, tabletop drills, pen tests and red/blue team exercises.
- Review and collaborate with Dev teams on security testing and abuser stories.
- Review security compliance deliverables related to GDPR, SOC, FedRAMP, PCI, M&A, etc.
- Develop certification blueprints for architecture, efficient and effective processes, and reports.
!|!Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
