Currently we are searching for Senior Software Engineer.

Your Java engineering skills will be paired with the capabilities of Open Source technologies to create a modern (service oriented, virtualized/containerized), highly-scaleable application. You will work in a DevOps model, with responsibility for the entire software lifecycle, including performance analysis, optimization, and production support. If you are up for the challenge of working with a variety of technologies, in a high-scale, fast-paced, intellectually challenging, fun environment, Bronto is where you want to be.

 

Required Skills

• BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Or experience that proves you can do the job!)

• 4 years of experience in software development

• Ability to think abstractly and solve complex problems

• Professional experience developing with Java and the JVM (C# development also given strong consideration)

Other useful skills we like to see (These are not required to apply!)

• Experience with HTTP, HTTP2, REST, and related web technologies

• Experience with relational databases and/or NoSQL databases

• Experience working in Linux or OS X command line environments

• Experience in distributed computing and/or concurrent programming

!|!Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
