For Siemens Ltd. China Smart Infrastructure Strategy and Business Development team in Shanghai, we are looking for a Senior Strategy Manager who will manage the strategic project planning and execution. You will work in an international environment, on a broad range of strategic topics and will have great exposure to senior management of the global and local Siemens organization.

What you will do

• Steer or coordinate strategic projects to drive business growth, e.g., sales and marketing strategy projects, in close collaboration with our global and local business units
• Provide analysis for company’s strategic decisions, including but not limited to performing market intelligence analysis, conducting field research and expert interview
• Identify and define potential focus areas for M&A and strategic partnerships in close alignment with business units. Prepare and align documents, participate negotiation, act as a project manager for external business collaboration    
• Deliver presentations to top management

Position requirements:

• Master’s degree and excellent academic record required, advanced graduate degree (e.g., MBA or PhD) preferred
• Major in STEM fields, i.e., science, technology, engineering (incl. IT), or mathematics
• 2-5 years' experience in strategy consulting, business development or other roles with a strategic focus, from a renowned industrial enterprise
• Outstanding analytical skills, attentive to details
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively both verbally and in writing – in English and Mandarin
• Ability to solve problems independently and creatively

Preferred qualifications:

• Proven track record of high performance and outstanding achievements in your previous positions
• Technology industry experience, especially at energy or electrical engineering industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• A plus if having relevant international experience (study / work abroad)
