We are recruiting for a Senior Tax Consultant or a Tax Manager, to join our Tax team, responsible for all tax aspects of Siemens Energy in China. This varied role incorporates advisory responsibility across commercial and business activities, tax planning and optimization as well as management of compliance requirements across an allocated portfolio of group companies. This role will report to the China Tax Head. Competitive salary and benefits commensurate to the role.

What are my responsibilities?

• Tax reporting - Review and ensure PRC tax returns, including VAT/CIT/withholding tax/stamp duty, etc.. Review tax related issue in annual audit report, monitor effective tax rate and fulfill tax reporting requirement from HQ.
• Tax planning - Tax due diligence on pre-acquire and follow-up tax control setup on integration. Advice and management of tax matters in connection with corporate restructuring / re-organization and other acquisition and post acquisition activities.
• Transfer Pricing – prepare TP documentation, monitor and control TP consulting.
• Cross border project advice - providing advice in respect of cross border activities and liaison with overseas tax departments or advisors as required.
• Completion of tax research/reviews on particular technical issues as required and ad-hoc tax advice to own portfolio of group companies.
• Negotiate with tax authority for a favorable treatment if possible and assist companies to deal with tax audit case, including internal and external communication.
• Responsibility for corporate tax governance and risk management in respect of own portfolio of group companies.

What experience do I need to apply for the role?

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• CPA/CTA/ACCA is preferred
• Experience working in corporate tax for a for large commercial organization/audit company
• Customer focus and excellent communication skills
• Experience of dealing with a group of companies and related tax affairs.
• Fluent English and mandarin Communication
