The Technology Software Engineering - EMEA Domain Specialists tasked to support the EMEA Field Presales in a diverse number of ways from regional Teams. No travel is required as the activities are done remotely for EMEA peers. These range from answering RFx/tenders, creating DEMOs/PoCs, sizing Solutions, delivering Workshops, and creating Business Cases. 

In the TSE Domain Specialist Team, we are looking for individuals who are willing to take on the challenge of building excellent product knowledge (Oracle Technology Portfolio) and to combine this with a good commercial sense, clear communication while working in an international environment.

What you will do?

On a day-to-day base, you will work closely with the Field Presales & Sales teams across countries in EMEA. The tasks delivered by you, The TSE Domain Specialist will be focused on:

• Responding to technical queries support on a range of issues such as answering product questions, creating content and documents for Oracle potential/existing Customers, researching a product topic or competitive product, and other tasks that support the Field Presales, our Customers, and Partners.
• Providing Presales support to RFI’s, RFP’s, RFQ’s, PQQ’s, etc.; answering to tender specifications and compliance matrix.
• Building Solutions and working closely with other Technology Specialists in providing Solutions based on Customer requirements 
• Building Demos to show our products and features, Workshops to help partners and customers understand our products better, POC’s to help the customer understand how the product works with a real set of data. 

A significant portion of your time will also be used to stay up to date on the latest product releases & Oracle’s strategy. This is done through Oracle’s well-known self-study, online training, and classroom training which can help you in your career growth, expand your product knowledge and validate your expertise to give you an edge in the IT industry.

 QUALIFICATIONS:

To fulfill the role of Domain Specialist we are looking for individuals that match the following profile: 

1. Good understanding of the IT market landscape & trends
2. Technical/IT education, university degree with post-graduation, Engineering Degree
3. At least 5-8 years of experience in an IT-related role (pre-sales consultant, Solution Engineering, technical support, consulting, development)
4. An understanding of architecture, knowledge of Overall Oracle Technology Portfolio
5. Good understanding of the following areas:
   • Experience with Content& Experience and SOA, BPM products is a must
   • Strong experience supporting and managing customer-facing web applications
   • Working knowledge of Oracle ADF/JAVA, JSP, Servlets
   • Experience managing web services technologies (SOAP & Restful)
   • Excellent Knowledge Webcenter Content, Webcenter Sites Tools (Sites Explorer, CatalogMover, Property Editor, Webcenter Developer Tools)
   • Experience with SOA,BPM, Workflows and integration technologies

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
