IRT TESTER – Oracle Health Sciences Business Unit

Department Description 

Responsibilities\: 

 Design test plans 

 Generate and execute test scripts 

 Ensure the correct functioning of clinical trial software with focus on patient safety and integrity of clinical study data 

 Ensure all activities and deliverables comply with FDA regulations 

 Ensure that requirements are clear, testable, and consistent with the clinical trial protocol 

 Develop validation plans 

 Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and resources. 

 Ability to provide insight and resolution to project related issues both pre-live and post-live. 

 Document defects and track resolution 

 Manage all testing activities within the assigned project team 

 Coordinate with clinical services and development team throughout the entire software development life cycle. 

 Perform other related duties as assigned. 

Education and Experience Required\: 

 B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent 

 2-4 Years of experience as a Software Tester 

 1-2 Years of experience with Test Automation Tools (Selenium, SpecFlow, WebDriver or other) 

 Experience working in an Agile development based process is a plus 

 Experience using different types of testing (Functional, System, Regression, Smoke, Sanity) 

 Driven by quality with a strong drive to collaborate as a team to ensure development of a high quality project 

 Excellent verbal and written communication skills

 Ability to visualize and discuss procedures and processes.

 Ability to document and record information thoroughly and accurately. 

 Time management and organizational skills 

 Ability to think critically and propose solutions to complete problems and obstacles.

Performs standard duties and tasks with some variation to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer specifications. Detailed Description Standard assignments are accomplished without assistance by exercising independent judgment, within defined policies and processes, to deliver functional and technical solutions on moderately complex customer engagements.

2-5 years of overall experience in relevant functional or technical roles. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
