Job Description

Your Role and Responsibilities

  • This is an individual contributor Business Development as true "Hunter" sales professional that understands how to cultivate new business and how to manage a territory to win net new clients also key client set while being adept at maintaining high levels of client satisfaction with existing customers. 
  • Strong knowledge of IT industries infrastructure technologies, IT solution, services portfolio offerings and competitive landscape that to develop appropriate sales strategies to close the deal. 
  • Subject Matter Expertise and credibility in working with clients, potential clients, and internal IBM Opportunity Identifiers and extended IBM team members. Engage and close opportunities with key decision makers and ensure smooth transitions from the sales phase to the delivery phase (ie hand-off from sales team to transition and steady state teams). 
  • Develops and maintains strong client relationships with executives and key influencers, in the IT and line of business organizations, based on a history of performance and credibility, earning a reputation as one of the client’s trusted business advisors
  • Demonstrates a high level of business acumen and applies an understanding of the client’s business, organization, strategy, financial position, and business issues

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Applicant has working expertise in Hybrid Cloud, Infrastructure Systems, Network, Resiliency, Digital Workspace Services Sales.
  • Minimum 3 years sales experience, preferably technology or services sales
  • Experience dealing and developing customer relationships
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English 
  • Good business acumen, excellent English proficiency in communication and writing 
  • Additional language proficiency either one in Indonesian, Thai, Tagalog or Vietnamese would be value added

The Services Sales Executive is responsible for developing solutions that address their client's business needs and delivering client value while supporting IBM Digital Business Group business strategies. The individual will responsible for driving Global Technology Services (GTS) Infrastructure Services signings and project based business. The goal is to work on selling client value on shorter term projects that are more transactional versus longer term managed services or outsourcing.

The applicant is passionate about its clients' business – their organization, financials, competitiveness in the market, business issues - and equally knowledgeable about how the unique capabilities of IBM's solutions align to address their needs.
