Job Description

Responsible for selling the organization’s premium services, i.e. complex services solutions. A customer-centric person, good hunter and door opener. Driving CLOUD transformation. ACS (Advanced Customer Services) are customized, “high-margin” professional services, delivered yearly by local ORACLE experts mainly, usually onsite.

Detailed Description:
Responsible for selling the company’s advanced services; primary responsibility is finding and generating new customers. Develops new accounts within the territory of Austria, across all industries, all types of services and channels.


Job Requirements:
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced business skills in area of specialization. Minimum 5 years relevant work experience preferred. BS/BA preferred.


 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·        Leading C-level negotiations, focusing on top ORACLE customers running robust IT environments

·        Reaching the overall target for the territory, business management in the territory, pipeline building, accurate and timely forecasting and cooperation with other ORACLE Lines of Business (LOBs) and with ORACLE Partners

·        Managing a fast-paced business in a dynamic environment

·        Reports to the “Cluster Director” in ECEMEA-North (EE&CIS) Region

·        Works as a member of an ECEMEA-North (EE&CIS) ACS Sales Team, has no direct reports, but leads or participates in the activities of virtual teams   

·        Works in a designated territory on a defined set of customer accounts

·        Developing a strategy and sales plan to address the designated territory and business sectors, incl. cold calling

·        Maintaining an understanding of the market in order to identify and prioritize the key revenue opportunities

·        Supporting, developing and promoting a territory specific go-to-market model and plan inline with EMEA model

·        Developing, maintaining and communicating a pipeline of future business that under writes targets

·        Supporting his/her manager in developing an overall Sales Plan for the ACS business

·        Providing input to the Business Planning process (budgets)

·        Supporting and advice creating and maintaining compelling Value Propositions for ORACLE ACS solutions in the designated territory

·        Supporting, developing and maintaining relationships with ORACLE Partners

·        Providing accurate and timely information to Business Operations, Business Practices (approvers), management and bookings forecasts

·        Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction within the specified territory

·        Ensuring all contractual agreements between ORACLE and the Customer are implemented and maintained

·        Contributing towards Marketing and/or Business Development and/or Product Management program(s)

·        Managing deals fully in line with all internal processes and policies

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have strong negotiation, communication, presentation & interpersonal skills
  • Must have a sales experience in selling services or/and integration projects or/and software or/and applications with the ability to gain credibility with both business and IT users in the sales cycle
  • Must have consultative selling approach
  • Must possess relevant industry domain expertise to uncover and articulate value propositions and ROI equations that directly address customer business problems
  • Must possess the knowledge and depth to understand and address typical issues and questions of IT audiences
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team – selling environment
  • Must be a result oriented, with growth obsession, new customers hunter
  • Fluent in German and English
Sales of the organization*s services (e.g., maintenance and service contracts).

Sells organization*s services (e.g., maintenance and service contracts); primarily finds new customers and generates new business. Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory, industry, product segment, or channel.

5-8 years of services sales experience. Able to work under tight deadlines. Self-starter able to prioritize given responsibilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills. BS/BA preferred. Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role.
