We are seeking a new Sales Operations Executive to lead our Oracle Systems Operations and Alliance & Channels Operations across Japan and Asia Pacific (JAPAC). The role of Senior Director, Business Operations for Systems and Alliance & Channels is a unique opportunity to lead operations for two dynamic organizations experiencing incredible growth and transformation. The new leader will report into the Vice President of JAPAC Business Operations and dot-line into the Senior Vice President of Systems and Alliance & Channels (A&C).

Responsibilities of the Role
- Operations officer and trusted advisor who leads strategic execution across the organization in partnership with the leadership team
- Develop and maintain operational excellence to drive sales predictability, transparency, and collaboration to meet revenue targets
- Lead supply chain operations management, supply chain process governance, and essential escalation management to ensure customer experience across JAPAC
- Accountable for systems sales forecast and revenue management across Oracle JAPAC regions, partner with Sales leaders to align forecasts with global supply or potential constrictions
- Sales leadership engagement and interlock with Global Business Operations key stakeholders to support JAPAC system supply demand
- Collaborate with key Executive Leadership to develop, drive effective change management, and execute the GTM strategies
- Sales planning with territory analysis to establish, maintain, and optimize sales territories
- Lead the operational process of the annual GTM planning cycle, interlock with stakeholders to strategize on the GTM organizational and sales strategies
- Management of Partner operations and Partner lead-to-cash processes to accelerate GTM growth strategies.
- Interlock with Sales Enablement, Partner Strategy, and Partner Programs to drive customer success, partner sales, account penetration, and customer acquisition/retention
- Support Partner/Sales compensation programs, annual sales quota, sales planning activities
- Delivers success through empowerment and accountability across their team, while providing effective coaching and mentoring
- Continuous sales process improvement to improve the selling experience for our sales teams and the buying experience for our valuable customers
- Quarterly business review readiness and support across the Sales leadership
- Coach, mentor, and develop a team of talented members to support their next career aspirations
- Act as a catalyst to inspire, influence, and galvanize the team to contribute in strengthening both the culture and core values at Oracle
Success Qualifications for this role
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline
- 10+ years of direct experience acting as an Executive operations officer in Sales Strategy, Revenue Operations, or Sales Operations roles
- 5+ years of people leadership and success in galvanizing a team around Corporate values, customer experience, and building a diverse and inclusive culture
- 10+ years engaging across Sales and cross-functional Executive leadership and Global/Worldwide stakeholders
- Regional leadership and accountability in supply chain management and operations and/or strategic operations management of a regional Alliance/Partner ecosystem
- Success in managing a diverse international team and developing talent to embrace a growth mindset culture within an organization
- Experience in leading a go-to-market strategy and operationalizing the strategy to exceed performance targets in a hyper-growth company
- Proven experience influencing change management, problem resolution, and communicating complex ideas in coherent terms to a cross function groups in a scaling environment
- Ability to collect, organize, and structure data to drive actions which impact the growth of the business
Manages sales and customer account administration as well as the monitoring, planning, and implementation of projects that support order processing activities. Ensures compliance with company revenue recognition policies for booking and shipment of orders. Acts as liaison to market research team to ensure market analysis data is properly used for quoting prices to customers. Coordinates field support calls. May track field support and/or sales activities and evaluate cost management effectiveness. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management; negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.
