The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) team can provide you the opportunity to build and operate a suite of massive scale, integrated cloud services in a broadly distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment.

The OCI Developer experience team builds tools and services for new Infrastructure-as-a-Service technologies that operate at a high scale in a broadly distributed multi-tenant cloud environment. Our mission is to give our customers best-in-class tools (e.g. SDK/CLI/IDE plugins) or services to build and manage their cloud infrastructure. We are looking for hands-on engineers with expertise and passion for building API, plugins, and tools to support multiple languages and development environments. We also develop services like cloud shell or orchestration services which will be important to Oracle cloud developer adoption. There is significant scope to develop your breadth and depth of skills in this role.

As Senior Software Engineer, you will own and lead software architecture and development for major components of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure. You should be comfortable with multiple programming languages and SDKs, and development environments, be able to architect broad systems interactions, be hands-on, be able to dive deep into any part of the stack, and have a good sense for developer experience. You should value simplicity and impact, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn. 

 
We are looking for Software Developers who\:
    ◦    Bachelor in computer science and engineering or related engineering fields. (Preferred Master degree) 
    ◦    2 years of experience with application development
    ◦    proficient in one of the modern language  (Java/Python/GoLang)
    ◦    Have worked with cloud infrastructure projects and have exposure to public clouds like AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
    ◦    Have experience in building developer tools (SDK/CLI) or IDE plugins (VS Code/Intellij) or public cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) 
    ◦    Can independently work on large, complex projects.
    ◦    Show an aptitude for architectural principals related to cloud infrastructure.
    ◦    Are willing to work with geographically dispersed teams
    ◦    Can speak to past successes they have had in software development.
    ◦    Systematic problem-solving approach, strong communication skills, a sense of ownership, and drive.
    ◦    Experience and knowledge around cloud infrastructure would be great and a definite plus but not essential. 
    ◦    Have experience with deployment automation with tools such a Terraform  or Ansible

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.!|!
