The Demo Services team is responsible for building enterprise class demos used by Oracle Sales Consultants to sell Oracle technology.

Do you enjoy being on the leading edge of technology?  The Demo Services Technical team specializes in developing Cloud solutions for worldwide sales. This spans Oracles Cloud strategy, Infrastructure and Platform services to enable application solutions for Platform and SaaS integration.

 

Job Responsibilities\:

 

 

• Write easy to read, maintainable, testable code

• Work closely with others in a supportive working environment

• Developing front end website architecture

• Designing user interactions on web pages

• Developing back end website applications

• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones

• Ensuring responsiveness of applications

• Working alongside graphic designers for web design features

• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product

• Designing and developing APIs.

• Meeting both technical and functional requirements

• Stay current with developments in web applications and programming languages

• Create applications involving IoT, sensors, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi

 

 

 

Qualifications\:

 

• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field or 5 years of experience working with enterprise web applications

• 5 Years in Software Development specific, Enterprise software, or Cloud Platform and Applications

• Must have 3 years of hands-on Java development skills

• Expertise working in a full stack development environment

• Expertise and recent hands-on experience in at least one of the following development areas\: native mobile technologies (Android, iOS), server-side technologies (Python, REST API design), client-side technologies (HTML, CSS, JS/Ajax/JSON, Angular.js, React)

• Proven task and time management skills, and a proactive communicator

• Motivated to learn new technologies

• Working knowledge of Source Control systems (Git), unit and automated testing concepts

• Working knowledge of hardware skills preferred 

 

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise.

!|!Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
