We are the Analytics metadata life cycle management team, which focuses on analytics data modeling and metadata management for Oracle Analytics Cloud. This is a senior Java developer position. The developer will work on the mid-tier modules of Oracle Analytics and various utilities for metadata management
The developer should

Responsibilities --
- Design and implement new functionalities for analytics metadata management required by Oracle Analytics Cloud.
- Enhance the existing functionalities for analytics metadata management required by Oracle Analytics Cloud.
- Implement unit tests to complete full cycle development
- Analyze the root cause of internal/external issues and solve them
- Create and maintain technical documentation and wiki pages.
- Review and provide the feedback for the code changes (implementation/bug fix) made by other developers.
Qualifications --
- BS/MS in computer science or other relevant technical degree
- 3 years demonstrated experience in application development using Java SE and EE
- Expertise with Database and SQL language
- Experience with Gradle
- Experience with Junit
- Experience with Docker
As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
