Oracle Content and Experience cloud is an intelligent content platform that provides rich capabilities to create, discover, classify and categorize the content in smart, efficient and secure way. Content can also be ingested from various sources to realize a true hub and single place for managing and using content.

Creating engaging and complex enterprise sites and equivalent experiences also requires the ability to pull in such content from various internal and external sources, which are often heterogeneous in shape and size. For such enterprise scale experiences, the ability for the users to discover information easily and accurately is a must. Searching and finding the exact content irrespective of various systems where they are reside, has become the natural way for users to engage with modern day real world experiences. Further the interactions on these enterprise experiences, such as a public facing enterprise site are increasing becoming natural language based, suggestive, predictive and personalized.

To fulfill this critical demand for such real world enterprise experiences, the Oracle Content and Experience cloud is expanding and building a modern platform for enterprise site search. This completely new platform will provide the ability to define the pipeline for data ingestion, intelligent transformation and indexing from various sources in a highly scalable and flexible manner. Such intelligent ingestion framework is first step towards making any content searchable.

Further, the enterprise site search platform will provide the full capabilities to build NLP based semantic search. Enterprise Sites can be built to include such search experiences in easy and suggestive question and answer pattern – a need for today’s user interaction patterns. This can also be extended to all the other engagement channels such as intelligent chatbots, mobile applications or integration with other business processes and applications within the organization.

We expanding our development organization to build this new enterprise site search platform. As a part of this fast moving agile team, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing and ultimately building this platform with highest quality. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who have particular passion for making discovery of information easy, natural and accurate for users. You will work with leading edge cloud infrastructure technologies and will have the challenge to bring your big data, NLP, ML expertise to real world problem solving in the domain of enterprise site content search.

 

 Key Responsibilities

• Own the architecture, design and development of significant portions of the Oracle Enterprise Sites Search platform with full stack implementation.
• Work with various external (application) teams integration with the product and help guide the integration and content ingestion from various sources.
• Understand complex security requirements within such integration models for sensitive data and provide efficient and acceptable solutions.
• Resolve complex technical issues and make design decisions to meet the critical requirements of scalable, highly available, multi-tenant services in cloud.
• Implement the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) of features using modern day testing methodologies.
• Work with product management, QA and other cross functional team to contribute and influence the development, release and testing.

 

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• MS or higher in Computer Science/Computer Engineering.
• 10 years of experience in software design and development, preferably in SaaS/Cloud Services.
• Proven experience in building modern search platforms and services.
• Experience in applying AI/ML, and NLP in solving real world problem.
• Experience in data transformation, content pipeline creation is plus.
• Very strong full stack 2EE and Web technologies understanding.
• Experience in web security integration such as authentication, authorization, and single sign on solutions.
• Experience in end to end product development life cycle and ensuring customer success.
• Understanding of modern content management systems and experience building is desirable.
• Previous experience building highly scalable and multi-threaded server architectures.
• Understanding of cloud deployment and infrastructure concepts such as multi-tenancy, scale out, high availability is a big plus.
• Must be detail oriented, task driven and have excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work in high pressure, highly flexible environments.
• Passionate about the cloud technologies and solving the real world SaaS problems.
• Experience with agile software development and short release cycles.

!|!Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
