We are now hiring Principal Software Engineers to work on Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and Oracle Cloud. OEM is Oracle's management platform for Oracle cloud and on-premise customers. Oracle cloud   is the industry’s broadest and most integrated public cloud. It offers best-in-class services across software as a service (SaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and infrastructure as a service (IaaS), and even lets you put Oracle Cloud in your own data center. 

As part of the job you will be working on designing and developing industries most reliable and best-in-class software solutions for OEM and Oracle Cloud products.

• Ideal candidate should have\:

• 8 years of in-depth experience in Enterprise Software Development and design using Java and SQL.

• Strong programming skills using J2EE, PL/SQL  and scripting languages such as  python, perl or shell.

• Hands on experience in building web services using REST/SOAP.

• Experience developing cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability

• Experience developing GUI applications with MVC architecture.

• Design and architecture knowledge as well as familiarity with object oriented design patterns.

• Strong knowledge of Data structures and algorithms.

• Expertise in every phase of software development lifecycle including requirements, design, develop, testing and maintenance and experience in Agile methodologies.

• Possess excellent analytical, oral and written skills

You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
