Design & develop Platform Services & Platform Services Manager in the Oracle Cloud (PaaS).

As a member of the PaaS team in Oracle Cloud, you will play an active role in the design, development & trouble shooting

of various Oracle's PaaS offerings. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical

skills. You will play an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. We are looking for

senior individual contributors who as a team member can provide direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or

equivalent experience relevant to the functional area.

Preferred Expertise\:

* Hands-on experience in Java, JDBC, JPA, SQL, JMS, XML, Python, HTTP and Web Services

* Domain knowledge in cloud technologies is a big plus

* In depth knowledge of J2EE standards and architecture

* Experience with Web logic server and J2EE application deployment

* Working knowledge of Oracle database

* Networking (Nice to have)

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.!|!
