Responsibilities

• Perform as the Full Stack Developer & Mobile App Developer.
• Build, maintain and significantly enhance diverse aspects of the various corporate websites & corporate mobile apps.
• Understand and debug code, including necessary performance enhancements and underlying architecture
• Design, build, test, and release mobile apps and cloud native solutions to enhance the core application deployments at Oracle.
• Work in UI based solutions involving JavaScript, React Native, ReactJS, JET, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS3 
• Engage with Business Managers and Support teams to identify defects and enhancements for the product.
• Troubleshoot and debug code for JavaScript and visual issues, performance optimization, and cross-platform compatibility.
• Collaborate with design team to bring creative ideas to the mobile UI and craft a beautiful Android/iOS user experience or Web UI and craft a beautiful Web user experience.
• Implement and support numerous integrations with the other systems
• Mentoring and adherence to standards for NodeJS development, Java development, web content management, tuning, and Diagnostics.
• Work as part of a team building prototypes, applications and user experiences.
• Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Full Stack Developer / Mobile App Developer
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Minimum 10-12 years of architecture/software development experience. At least three years with Mobile app development building Hybrid Apps , Progress Web Apps or Native Apps.  At least 5 years’ experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and RESTful API integrations.
• Strong experience in leading, developing and architecting digital experience applications including websites and mobile applications.
• Strong Java & JavaScript coding and diagnostics skills required.
• Experience working with JavaScript, NodeJS, React, Angular,JET, jQuery, AJAX, JSON, HTML5, CSS3 and related technologies.
• Knowledge and working experience of advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as Bootstrap, ReactNative, JET, AngularJS, KnockoutJS, BackboneJS, ReactJS, NextJS, ExpressJS, DurandalJS, etc is a must.
• Familiarity with front-end build tools and package managers, such as Grunt, Bower, NPM and Gulp.js
• Familiarity with JavaScript module loaders, such as Require.js and AMD.
• Familiar with RESTful APIs, UI Kit, offline storage, threading, performance tuning and all UI components in Android/IOS object library foundation.
•  Understand Android’s/Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and other UX & UI standards to create scalable products.
• Proficiency with writing automated tests using frameworks like JUnit, Espresso, Mocha, Jest, Enzyme, XCTest, etc.
• Solid knowledge of Oracle database and SQL queries.
• Lots of experience with Linux/UNIX systems, docker containers and the best practices for deploying applications to Kubernetes.
• Strong programming/script skills in Python, Perl, Ruby shell is a plus.
• A deep functional knowledge or hands-on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, etc ...) is needed to be successful in this position. Extensive knowledge about APIs. Ability to design RESTful services and integrate with other data providers. Understanding when to use JSON or XML.
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.

• Proficient understanding of Continuous Integration and deployment and tools chain like GIT, Jenkins, Maven, Grunt, RunDeck, Terraform, Ansible, etc.
• Experience working in an Agile & cloud native environment is essential

• Comprehensive experience of debugging client-server interaction in a browser and optimizing webpages for performance and security.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
• Ability to take feature/design through the software lifecycle to release robust, high-quality, production code
• Strong communication skills including the ability to express complex technical concepts to different audiences in writing and conference calls.

• Flexible work times to enable working with team members in other time zones (Early and Late conferences)
• Experience to work with offshore teams is a plus

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. You will be responsible for defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.!|!
