We are looking for a hands-on,
Development Manager to lead our development team in Melbourne. You will be
working as part of a high performing cross-functional team on a large
Software-as-a-Service (SAAS) system. You will be growing the most widely used
online collaboration platform in the world for Construction, Infrastructure,
and Energy and Resources projects.
You will be leading a passionate team, taking accountability for all aspects of
software design and delivery. You will be applying a range of agile project planning
and delivery methodologies to continually improve productivity and reduce
waste. You will be accountable for the software architecture and drive a strong
quality mindset. You will be collaborating with business stakeholders and
clients to address issues and discover new requirements.
In your role you will be working
with other development managers to align and prioritise work. You will mentor
and develop your team members while ensuring a vibrant and collaborative
working environment.

!|!Manage a team that designs, develops, troubleshoots and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.
As a manager of the software engineering division, you will apply your knowledge of software architecture to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications, operating systems and databases according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.
Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. Typically one year of software engineering or related experience.!|!
