About the team

We work in a cloud-based environment, our product is one system, no hair-ball. As our product is used by +16.000 organizations all around the world, we cannot put everything into a single core functionality. Therefore, we have an in-house built JavaScript framework, which we use to build solutions on top of NetSuite Platform. This framework enables us to deliver complex applications from backend to frontend. We are mainly focused on localization features, such as financial reporting, business processes, and tax determination. Quality is a must for us, therefore we deliver applications, which are supported by strong test automation. We have time for documentation, refactoring and innovation.

 

Your role

You will be involved in implementation full stack solutions that include database schema, business logic as well as some presentation layer, where we put a lot of importance to what we release to our customers. As a test automation developer, you will be part of our test engineering team working closely with product managers and developers.

As part of this, you will be involved in our Agile Testing process sprint by sprint and will work with other engineers on the testing strategy for each release. You will participate in risk analysis process and, using best practices, propose mitigation plan that will involve test automation (API’s, UI), performance, smoke, exploratory testing and others. You will work on the entire application stack, from backend to frontend using all the same engineering tools as developers.

Your qualifications & skills

• B.S or Master's in computer engineering or relevant experience in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
• Previous testing and test automation experience, preferably with web application (both frontend and backend)
• Proficiency in any Object-Oriented Programming language
• Experience in scripting languages like Javascript
• Ability to interact in an English speaking environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team 

 

Nice to have

• Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM development team
• Experience with test automation for web application
• Good understanding of SQL
• Solid ability to understand the business logic of applications
• Experience handling defect management workflow
• Experience with ERP/financial systems development/testing

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design, install and evaluate quality control methods and systems. Design continuing maintenance of product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance and methods.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. A of 1 year of software engineering or related experience.
