Your mission

We want to make sure our customers have the best experience on OCI and our mission is to understand our user base. Our mission is to build a world class data platform to understand our business and customer insights.

In order to do that we need to\:

• Build a data stack to understand our customer base – this includes leveraging data streams across Oracle and building the pipelines, the views and analytics to generate insights on our customer experience and business.
• Partner with product managers in understanding and growing our business; build that virtuous cycle of business and customer data driving engineering decisions, that drive our business over the long term.

Your DNA and Experience

• Experience in data architecture, data modeling and operationalizing data warehouses.
• Proven record in building reliable, robust and scalable data pipelines.
• Passion or experience in analytics, statistical modeling and ML a plus.
• The successful candidate will have spent approximately 2 years of their career in data engineering or analytics roles with a proven record of building scalable data solutions.
• BS/MS degree required; Computer Science, Math or Engineering degree with Technical background desired.

!|!Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will assist in defining and developing software for tasks associated with the developing, debugging or designing of software applications or operating systems. Provide technical leadership to other software developers. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture to meet changing needs.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
