Oracle Hospitality, an AHLA Platinum Partner, provides mission-critical operational solutions to independent hoteliers, global and regional chains, gaming, and cruise lines, with cloud-based, mobile-enabled solutions for property management, point of sale, distribution, reporting, and analytics, and more.

As a presales Consultant within Oracle Hospitality, you will provide solution engineering technical and functional support to prospective and current clients mainly in the French market, working in conjunction with the sales team primarily for our Hotel platform - OPERA product.

Our Engineering Hospitality presales Consultant provides our clients with product direction and specialist knowledge in applying our Opera application to best meet their needs while also communicating functional value to client businesses. Through designing, validating, and presenting Oracle software solutions (that might include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party interfaced products), you will be a critical piece in the success of growing our business. 

You will:

  • Develop, present, and deliver high-impact demonstrations of the Oracle Hospitality solution.
  • Maintain account and opportunity updates within the internal sales force automation system.
  • Manage and prioritize sales opportunities.
  • Clearly articulate the benefits of Oracle Hospitality’s applications to all levels including line of business end users, managers, and "C" level executives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills: storytelling, needs analysis, value positioning, business justification, closing techniques, and presentation skills.
  • Provide input to, and gather insight from, other cross-functional departments pertaining to prospect requests and product enhancements as needed.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 5 years of hospitality experience required
  • Strong sales aptitude
  • 3+ years of OPERA, OPERA Cloud applications preferred.
  • Experience in PMS (property management system) use and configuration
  • Thorough knowledge of system and application design.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques.
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments.
  • Ability to travel.
  • French and English native or fluent knowledge is a must

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Senior Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision. Acts as a technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate advanced product features and benefits, product future direction and overall Oracle solutions. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products. Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships.

Job duties are varied and complex, needing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 5 years relevant computer applications or database/tools. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Through knowledge of system and application design. Strong verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems with accounts in complex technical environments. Ability to travel as needed. BS degree or equivalent; advanced degree desirable.
