Key job responsibilities
As an Senior Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for driving world class manufacturing automation solutions to scale our operations globally. This will involve innovating automation solutions for assembly processes, explore cutting edge technologies, design equipment and fixtures in 3D CAD. You will be a key member of the development team and will be the main interface between the Hardware and Product Design Engineering teams with local and Offshore Operations teams within Lab126 and our OEM partners.

A day in the life
Primary responsibilities include:
a. Innovate, design and develop cost effective assembly automation solutions. This involves designing (3D CAD) of assembly automation equipment.
b. Scale automation solutions working closely with Contract Manufacturers (CMs)
c. Design, Develop custom automation solutions for very unique customer needs. In other words, design machines that does not exist in the World today.
d. Review automation equipment DFM with CMs and internal stake holders.
e. Understand automation trends and support defining automation roadmap for next 3 years.
