Job summary
· Lead STM (Site Technical Management) team to launch the new programs and ensure the sustaining program production with high quality and efficiency.
· Developing the STM team, provides guidance and direction to the team for the critical technical issues, help team on the strategical thinking, lead team on the lesson learnt and organize the technical forum or committee.
· Plan the long term technical manufacturing roadmap and strategies to address the manufacturing issue and demand.
· Proactively address the mass production related issues and challenges during design and planning phase through DFM (Design For Manufacturing).
· Responsible for development, qualification and validation of FATP (Final Assembly Test and Pack) lines for Mass Production (MP).
· Making the products with targeted units per hour (UPH), First Pass Yield (FPY), zero manufacturing escape.
· Leading the efforts for root cause and corrective action for all manufacturing process related issues, dive deep to analyze the problems found both in and out of the factory.
· Work with sustaining engineering team on the opportunities to improve our product, owns the technical readiness of PRQ in CMs.
· Continuously optimize the manufacturing process to improve the efficiency, quality and lower down the cost, e.g. automation, UPH increase.
· Works with cross functional team to dives deep on technical, quality and line qualification for the programs. Ensure alignment and drive consensus across teams, provides leadership with recommendations, prepares white papers, Correction of Error’s (COE’s) etc. documents.
