The Senior Material Application Engineer works closely with teams located in both the US and China. As a member of the Product Engineering (PE) team, you will be responsible for developing application strategy and road map for sustainable materials, participant new material and process development, providing material recommendations to project teams, and guiding critical and complicated failure analysis related to material. You be responsible for closely monitoring and driving the above activities at suppliers.

The Role:
· Identify and develop application strategy and road map for sustainable materials
· Drive and approve technical data documentation throughout the development cycle
· Guide project teams on critical and complicated material related FAs
· Provide material recommendations to project teams
· Drive technical issue resolution at suppliers throughout the process development cycle of new materials
· Mentor and develop junior engineers
· Identify technical risks and define mitigation plan
· Travel domestically and internationally to supplier sites and design centers as require
