Job Purpose & Responsibilities
  • Program and manage SABIC's talent development portfolio to empower the global professionals below executive-level talent pool with the skills and experiences needed to enable desired business outcomes
  • Broaden talent development portfolio to include relevant HR best practices such as high-potential programs, diversity & inclusion, coaching & mentoring and career development
  • Establish effective partnerships within and across Talent Management, OD-OE, L&D and C&B to ensure alignment such that all CoEs are contributing their expertise toward a unified talent development approach
  • Partner with leaders to define the talent development roadmaps and priorities, including a process to end practices or approaches that are no longer best for the company; provide change leadership to help move from "past-their-prime" talent development practices toward the future tools and approaches needed
  • Partner with P&O team to continually assess which aspects of talent development are leading or lagging and develop action plans
  • Establish joint ownership and create positive, clear working relationships, goals and delivery across a matrix of CoE teams.
  • Share priorities that require working together and leveraging each unique discipline to deliver the parts/products needed to unlock the talent development strategy (e.g. L&D delivers the learning solutions)
  • Partner with HR Partners to ensure proper handover and continuous coaching for the design and creation of the talent management solutions needed to support the talent development agenda for professional employees below the executive population
  • Partner with SWP-Talent Analytics, HRBP's and regional HR organizations to develop a process to identify and diagnose most critical talent gaps requiring talent development actions.
  • Implement progress measures

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree; advanced degree preferred
  • 15 years of experience in Talent Management or related field
  • Global Program Management experience
  • Must be fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a distinct advantage
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in meeting business objectives; implementing HR and Talent Management strategies
  • Demonstrated experience influencing and interacting with key senior leaders across an organization
  • Demonstrated experience in portfolio management & strategy development
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing multiple projects and stakeholders on a global scale
  • Project management experience including confidence in managing stakeholder relationships effectively and succeeding with and through others
  • Demonstrated experience of working in a matrix organization; understand the organizational environment and can navigate successfully within it
  • Experience with HRIS and external platforms (i.e. social media channels) preferred
  • Certification in coaching (coaching hours) and/or experience with multiple advanced talent assessment instruments (i.e. Korn Ferry, PDI, etc.) used in practice and/or publications
  • Experience with more than one global talent/HR program development & management (i.e. Performance Mgt, D&I, competency development & assessment, career development)
  • Senior leader of engagement & stakeholder management
