Job Description
All duties will be performed in accordance with The Empress’ commitment to luxury service standards
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Storing, handling, inventory control and issuing of all stores items including food, beverages, housekeeping supplies and paper stocks
- Placing inventory orders through online ordering system
- Performing daily and month-end inventory counts
- Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Six months recent experience (in the last five years) as a Storeperson or an equivalent position with experience in inventory or stock control and rotation
- Food & beverage product knowledge
- Impeccable grooming and presentation
- Completely fluent English language skills; both written and verbal
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office including Excel
- Excellent organizational skills with a high level of responsibility and commitment
- Team player with proven success in relationship building
- Proven history of working well with minimum supervision
- Committed to providing excellent service and exceed guests' expectations
- Must be bondable
Note: The position of Storeperson is physically demanding. The successful applicant must be physically capable of performing repetitive work, as well as lifting and carrying heavy loads.
