What are my responsibilities?

Operational Procurement

• Responsible for releasing orders to core engine suppliers of various commodity
• Assume operating procurement role for project business, ensure accuracy, quality, and OTD

Strategic Procurement

• Explore new suppliers on assigned commodity
• Implement Commodity strategies to ensure long-term, cost efficient supply of materials
• Close communication with Global Team to increase China sourcing value
• Contribute to and influence global commodity strategy

Negotiations

• Prepare and conduct negotiations for small to medium Purchasing Volumes to obtain highest feasible savings

Supplier Management

• Support Supplier Management processes (e.g. qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification); update supplier evaluation systems to obtain and develop the best suppliers and ensure transparency
• Maintain relationship with supplier and monitor supplier’s performance

Collaboration with Interface

• Ensure a close collaboration with internal interface partners (SQM, SP, PPM etc.)
• Close communication with global counterparts from various countries

What do I need to qualify for this job?

• Fluent English, and willingness to work in an international and diverse team
• Minimum Bachelor degree in Engineering, Business Management or other related field
• Experience on procurement will be a plus
• Basic knowledge of sourcing processes/procedures and supply chain management
• Strong communication skills to drive with cross-functional team and can-do attitude
• Open to new responsibility to better service business requirements
• Flexibility with regards to working hours, duties and travelling
