International Tax Provision Intern

Oracle’s Corporate Tax department is looking for enthusiastic and motivated tax interns to support Oracle’s International Tax Provision team based in Redwood Shores, CA.  Successful candidates will work alongside Oracle’s corporate tax professionals and will support Oracle’s international tax provision compliance and planning activities. 

 

Role & Responsibilities\:

• Maintaining Oracle’s foreign entity worldwide tax account, including preforming reconciliations and analysis of the data gathered;
• Assisting in the maintenance of foreign tax rate table and other tax rule changes;
• Assisting in the consolidation of foreign tax questionnaires and analysis of the data provided;
• Assisting in preparation of tax account reconciliations; and
• Support in any other functions as required by the international tax provision team.

• Self-starter and detail oriented;
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve;
• Strong data analytical skills;
• Excellent computer skills, particularly advanced MS Excel;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills;
• Ability to learn new systems and software applications that are Oracle-specific;
• Goal oriented and capable of completing projects on time with minimal supervision;
• Handles multiple competing priorities in fast-paced environment; and
• Positive work attitude with a desire to learn new skills and gain new experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications\:

• BS or MS in Accounting, Taxation or a related field preferred; and
• Prior work experience is desirable but not required.
