Job summary
o Lead cross functional team to conduct potential supplier qualification audits in both system and process levels.
o Maintain quality data, ie audits, build yield, quality scorecards, as key input to QBR.
o Develop new suppliers or existing suppliers to improve its reliability and quality. Drive into Sub-tier suppliers for quality review and corrective actions when necessary.
o Perform audit before MP starts to review supplier readiness.
o Identify potential problems in product design, specifications and materials, dive deep & able to drive supplier to find out root causes & solutions.
o Co-work with Global Commodity Managers, engineering & cross functional team for qualification of second or multiple sources. Review and approve request of engineering or production changes.
o Drive for continuous improvements via Lean / Six-sigma activities
o Lead cross functional initiatives to enhance excellent process and quality control
