Oracle Managed Cloud & SaaS Services is currently seeking Operation engineer to help support Oracle Cloud operations business.
Don’t worry if you do not have experience in Hospitality, Food & Beverage or with Oracle software. As the industry leader, we can teach you that.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o   Receive incoming support calls and direct to the proper team if needed
o   Monitoring incoming support mails and direct to the proper team if needed
o   Monitoring incoming support tickets and direct to the proper team if needed
o   Actively checking monitoring system alarms
o   Detecting / Fixing monitoring alarms and direct to the proper team if needed
o   Sending customer notifications in case of an incident or outage
o   Hosting conference calls
o   Follow instructions from the Shift managers
o   Support the maintenance teams
QUALIFICATIONS:
o   Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent combination of relevant experience.
o   Excellent verbal and written English skills
o   Willingness to join 24 x 7 rotation and nightshift
o   Customer focused and team oriented work

Define, design, and implement network communications and solutions within a fast-paced, leading edge database/applications company.

Perform performance trend analysis and manage the server/network capacity. React to potential problems using automation, scheduling, and monitoring tools -- escalating to management where appropriate. Participate in configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system. Responsible for support documentation as well.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 2-4 years of related experience in a medium to large network distributed and computing environment. BS in Computer Science or related field.
