Role and Responsibilities

The Oracle National Security Group requires support for IT Security Administration in the Northern Virginia area to support multiple SCIFs (Secure Compartmented Information Facilities).  Areas of critical expertise include\:

• Microsoft Windows Server
• Microsoft Exchange Server
• Microsoft Windows Desktop
• Microsoft Office Suite
• Cisco Routers and Firewalls
• Cisco IP Phones

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operations of multiple SCIF IT Environments in conjunction with the specific program and security staff.  Operations include the initial installation of systems, hardening of the systems to ICD503 standards, and the continuous monitoring of the systems for upgrades and security updates.  In addition, he/she will work with the Oracle NSG Security Staff on the Site Security Plan and any changes to the IT Environment that require end customer review and approval.

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate

Cisco Certified Networking Associate

Associates Degree Required / Bachelor Degree Desired

TS/SSBI/SCI Clearance with Polygraph

!|!Define, design, and implement network communications and solutions within a fast-paced, leading edge database/applications company.

Perform performance trend analysis and manage the server/network capacity. Propose client configuration and implement technical solutions to enhance and/or troubleshoot the system. Work with others to define, coordinate vendor purchase needs. Responsible for support documentation as well.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. 5 years of related experience in a medium to large network distributed and computing environment. BS in Computer Science or related field.
