Application Management Services (AMS) provides a proactive and personalized support experience, anticipating users’ needs and continuously advancing you towards achieving our clients' goals. Our experienced associates provide excellent support of Millennium on a 24x7x365 basis. We collaborate with the client IT personnel to streamline functions, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and implement changes as necessary. AMS clients express higher levels of productivity, faster system performance, and increased end user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide venue expertise during client engagement to deliver workflow and solution design to achieve defined benefits.
- Consult with clients on current workflows, upgrades, system changes and enhancements and ongoing system maintenance
- Provide client partners solution troubleshooting and knowledge transfer
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to provide appropriate escalation of issues, solution knowledge and engagement support
- Resolve escalated problems and issues using solution knowledge and expertise
- Resolve client concerns raised during installation, operation, maintenance or solution application
- Perform test script execution
- People Management Responsibilities (for associates with one or more direct reports):
- Seek to understand disagreements, ensure all perspectives are heard and facilitate a plan for resolution.
- Delegate the work appropriately, provide clear expectations and follow up to ensure progress and overcome roadblocks. Identify associates and team priorities based on business direction and adjust when needed.
- Lead by example and share knowledge and experiences with associates and team. Create a respectful work environment where you advocate for your team, create accountability and recognize accomplishments.
- Provide timely feedback to encourage success, ensure accountability and connect opportunities for your associates' development.
- Identify the right talent to achieve the desired results. Promote and build a diverse and cohesive team to accomplish objectives and align associates' skills to fill gaps.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineer or 4 years relevant work experience
- Plus 2 years completed higher education and/or additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job including:
- 1 year in healthcare information technology (HCIT) consulting, HCIT support and/or other client-facing or information technology (IT) solution work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Cerner Millennium
Expectations:
- Provide on-call support when needed.
- Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
- Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
- Excellent communication skills verbally and written
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned

Work closely with Oracle's internal business and development teams to drive the technical/functional global implementation of Oracle's applications internally. The main responsibilities may include: Manage all aspects of internal deployment projects and work closely with the internal teams on status, issues and communications. Define business specifications with the internal user community for the global deployment of the application. Define and drive business specifications for product and component integration points. Map standard application functionality to global/local business specifications. Manage product gaps from business specifications to product enhancement and/or business process change. Gather specifications and drive solutions from a global perspective across the e-Business Suite. Define product enhancements to drive solutions across the e-Business Suite for all customers. Manage product setup definition and configuration along with internal business process teams. Manage all aspect of product rollout and coordination with internal teams. Define specifications for data migration from legacy systems into newer applications. Define specifications for data interfaces between applications for product rollouts. Manage user acceptance testing and transfer of information to internal teams. Provide technical support for implemented applications; diagnosing and reporting bugs, applying patches and upgrades as needed. Establish priorities for feasibility studies, systems design and implementation to develop new and/or modify the company*s information processing systems. Coordinate with functional departments involved to collect system specifications, techniques, and controls. Interact with senior management within Product Development, Business organizations and Global IT.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. 2-4 years of related experience in a medium to large network distributed and computing environment. BS or equivalent experience in programming on enterprise or department servers or systems.
