Position Overview (Introduction)
Siemens is a leading company in the area of industrial communication networks and Industrial Internet-of-Things (IoT) technology. For our IOT research group with offices in Beijing, Wuxi and Wuhan we are looking for an assistant to support daily operation and assist our researchers and project managers in the administration of R&D projects.
Responsibilities
Support project managers in the preparation of project agreements and contract documents
Handle expense claims for the team members
Manage the purchasing of equipment and services for the department
Handle administrative and legal processes, e.g. issuing of checklists for export control, at department level
Coach team members in the correct execution of Siemens processes
Work with the business administrators and the department head on the correct and timely planning of the department’s billings, time allocation and spendings
Organize events (e.g. department workshops) and support visitors with travel formalities (e.g. invitation letters, domestic travel arrangements,…)
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience
Excellent organizing and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of accounting
Strong sense of responsibility
Attention to detail
Good communication skills in English and Chinese
Preferred Knowledge/Skills
Experience as Team Assistant or comparable job in a multinational company
