Job Description
As a technical leader in the CIO ServiceNow Insights team, you will help lead a team of Data/Computer Scientists and Data Engineers in the IBM CIO Office. Your team transforms data into tangible business value. By wrangling, organizing, and analyzing IBM CIO ServiceNow Data combined with other sourced data, you are able to tell a story which communicates deep insights. Leveraging our corporate data using IBM Watson and other open source tools, your team will be a key player in the transformation to a Cognitive Enterprise.

In the IBM CIO office, our mission is to optimize the IBM work environment and continuously improve the experience for hundreds of thousands of IBM employees.
The Insights Lab team in the CIO office is furthering the mission of creating a productive environment by turning terabytes of data into deep insights and understandings. We are analyzing very disparate data and mixing the results together to learn incredible new insights. Insights which will help our employees make faster, insightful decisions, while automating with AI. We use a combination of analytics and artificial intelligence tools embedded in software products, blended with our own analytics and artificial intelligence using IBM Watson products.
We are looking for a technical leader with data science and AI skills to lead our small team of worldwide engineers, scientist, and IT leaders. Together we will build strategies based on our data analytics which will deliver artificial intelligence solutions used by thousands of employees every day.

About you:
- You are an experienced and curious technical leader. You have a firm grasp of data science and have experience deploying scalable AI solutions
- You have a strong understanding of general computer science with a focus on cloud computing
- You are comfortable working on a team that does not have one fixed mission, but looks at the big picture, and navigates your own course with Design Thinking. You use Design Thinking to provide IBM users with innovative solutions
- You have a seat at the table when defining the team's direction
- You are very comfortable with data science topics, AI, and are able to perform complex data science / AI work
- You are able to adapt and lead in a fluid environment
- You are energetic, diplomatic, and fearless - especially when your team needs help removing blockers
- You have solid agile and technical project management skills
