TECHNICAL MANAGER - OPERATIONS

Oracle Managed Cloud & SaaS Services is currently seeking Technical Manager to help support Oracle Cloud for Industry operations business.
RESPONSIBILITIES\:
- Provide HANDS ON technical leadership for the Application Engineering team
- Coordinate between Operations Center, Support and other technical teams in planning change, resolving incidents or customer escalations and drive them to completion
- Work with the global Ops team documenting processes and standard operating procedures
- Transition and align Hospitality best practices to Oracle Cloud processes & guidelines
- Serve as the point of contact for escalations
- Analyze inflow of work and generate KPI reports and guidelines for process improvements
- Generate weekly reports of system outages with corrective action and RCA
- Collaboratively own problem management ensuring quick resolution of high priority issues
- Drive improvement of the overall delivery of Oracle’s Cloud solutions.
- Management of customer escalations and work closely with members of the Cloud Services Delivery organization to support all aspects of SaaS hosting delivery for assigned customer accounts
QUALIFICATIONS\:
- Skilled at establishing and managing cross functional relationships
- Ability to measure cloud KPIs and define new ones as per business needs
- Exceptional problem solving, issue resolution and customer service skills
- 10 years related experience of a best-in-class cloud or hosting organization
- 5 years of experience being a Tech Lead and managing a team
- Have a broad, strong technical knowledge which encompasses Application operations including deployment, Release automation, Platform architecture, Database, Network, Load-balancing / Clustering and Security
- Have detailed knowledge of applications built using Apache, WebLogic and Fusion Middleware or related technology
- Possess proven track record of operational success in a high traffic environment
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent combination of relevant experience.
- ITIL certified
- Excellent verbal and written English skills
- Excellent escalation handling & communication skills
Manages a team maintaining and/or implementing software project(s) and/or internal systems. Defines, documents and manages scope, expectations, implementation approach, deliverables and acceptance testing criteria.
Leads a specialized area which may have diverse functional elements. Frequently interacts with supervisors and/or functional peer group managers. May interact with senior management. Demonstrated leadership skills. Detailed knowledge of several applications within a business area needed. BA/BS degree and relevant experience.!|!
