What You’ll Do

We are seeking a motivated Solution Engineering Manager / Pre-sales Leader who can support growth of our entire technology solutions portfolio in a license sales model. As we continue to help customers to transition to Cloud, we make sure their needs for an On premise solution are still covered.
Your team cover a wide rage of solutions from Database, data management Solutions (Analytics, Integration..etc) as well as Cybersecurity, middleware and other exciting digital solutions. You will help our customers, who have growing data volumes and aggressive service-level expectations, maximize the potential of their IT organizations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Senior Manager for our Technology Solution Engineering team is responsible for providing leadership to a team of highly skilled engineers and architects that blend deep subject matter IT expertise to solve the hardest customer issues. Solution Engineering team bridges the gap between business and technology, speaking the value language to our customers. Our engineers combine deep understanding of technology, applications, industry best practices, business processes and architectural patterns to drive IT transformation initiatives that meet the business objectives of our customers.
Technology Solution Engineering leader will contribute to key business decisions and customer engagement strategies and initiatives. This leader will be a vital contributor to our overall Tech Solution Engineering team. S/he must develop a comprehensive strategy and drive results by:
· Motivating and leading the immediate team of engineers supporting Database/Middleware/Security/BI/Big data License opportunities
· Helping Customers transform and evolve their business through the use of Oracle software solutions.
· Engaging with Key Industry customers to provide unique domain expertise, co-design products and solutions
· Developing strong relationships with the relevant Sales, Product Management and Engineering teams and leaders
· Mastering knowledge of Oracle Technology on-prem products and plans.
· Demonstrating technical credibility within Oracle and with Oracle customers.
· Ensuring that the solution engineering team can promote and evangelize Oracle products to selected customers, partners, and internal audiences
· Developing relationships and collaborate with our partners to define, recommend, and drive Oracle tech coverage
· Supporting customer meetings to develop customer discussions further
· Being able to orchestrate proposals together with other internal business groups in the same solutions team or others. Understand that is all about the customer
· Foster collaboration between various lines of business (Applications, Hardware, Consulting) involved and influencing the sales process.
PREFERRED PERSONAL & LEADERSHIP SKILLS
The ideal candidate must be a high-energy, strategic and technical expert leader possessing a strong sense of urgency with a performance-based track record of success.
S/he will have demonstrated successful expertise with a technology company. The successful candidate will be technically adept, possessing a broad combination of skills and experiences reflecting the complexities of Oracle and Oracle’s customers. This role requires technical subject matter expertise and the capability to influence critical and timely transformational change for our customers as well as strong people-management experience being able to lead experienced solution engineers, senior architects and cross-unit collaboration internally.
The successful candidate:
· 5+ years of manager experience leading and directing teams that support success through a matrixed environment.
· An experienced and credible technical expert with a technologist point of view, deep understanding of the technology evaluation and knowledge on the latest trends and how technology plays into those.
· A dynamic technically-astute manager who understands what it takes to develop and lead experienced expert pre-sales team
· A proven and enthusiastic, high-energy, motivating leader who is visibly passionate and is capable of inspiring and galvanizing an organization.
· A balance of strategic and tactical skills, with a high-level of intellectual agility and capacity for original thought.
· An exceptional communicator who can write, present and effectively adjust messages to meet individual audiences and organizations.
· Experience in the ability to manage a team during transformational change.
· A proven ability to navigate and effectively collaborate with other departments and resources in large complex environments.

EDUCATION
A Computer Science degree is preferred. An advanced degree is a plus.
Fluency in English is required
Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sales cycle.As part of the Oracle sales team you will direct and manage pre-sales resources throughout the sales cycle. Provides technical/functional leadership to the sales team in the development and implementation of customer applications and customer products. Participates in account planning and strategy development. May publishes technical information of specific applications and/or technical articles. Works with management to define new products. Serves as the company liaison on specific technical projects with customers.
Manages and controls activities in multi-functional areas of sections. Ensures appropriate operational planning is effectively executed to meet Corporate business needs. Knowledge of software industry relating to all aspects of ebusiness solutions. Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong presentation skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent.
